Hope is the most significant gift we can give to one another.
Sometimes life hands us adversity, and it is in those experiences that we often find out who we really are. We find strength within ourselves that we never knew we had, joy for things that we never knew we loved, and gratitude for moments we once took for granted. Post-traumatic growth is described as a profound positive change in how a person views themselves, others, and life, as a result of a transformative shift in perspective after experiencing a traumatic life event(s). The gratitude and sense of freedom that results from living through something that felt impossible, empowers us to live more authentically and leave a positive impact on the world around us.
Post traumatic growth is obtainable for anyone, and the way in which we attain it is through exploring and realizing our core self by means of finding our unique purpose and passions. We know that it is possible to heal, because we have done it ourselves, and you can too. You possess the ability to heal from something that feels impossible to return from, and you can be freed from the fear and shame that once dominated your life. Hope is too profound a gift to not share with others. That is why we created Orenda Integrated Therapy; to share our experience and knowledge of healing with you, to hold space for your pain, and to shine a light of hope so that you may find the tools inside yourself to escape the darkness.
Left unattended, Pain becomes both isolating and degenerative. We easily start to feel disconnected from ourselves and others, feeling as though we are alone on our island of suffering. While we may have supportive people in our lives, we continue to feel as though no one could really know what we have been through or how those experiences have affected us. And while our experiences and associated feelings are individual to us, we are not alone in our shared desire to be accepted, understood, and loved.
You no longer have to feel alone in your pain, you deserve connection, and you can heal from the pieces of your life that have felt shackling. We understand the importance of holding space for someone, giving them room to explore themselves in a supportive and nurturing environment. When we create a space that allows for safe exploration, emotional cleansing, and unconditional acceptance, we give people the ability to develop the confidence in their own capacity to heal.
Through the exploration of strengths and resiliencies, identifying your passions and sources of contentment, and practicing living vulnerably and authentically, you will be able to gain the confidence and self-efficacy to both understand and realize the transformation you wish for yourself.
